Promises for a future better blog!

I promise that if I am at all capable, I will be bringing you regular news of Tajikistan. I leave for three months of life (as a developing human rights lawyer) in Dushanbe as of September 13. After one week of visiting a wedding in Prague, I will most probably arrive on September 19, at 3:20am!! Now, just wish me luck getting a decent fair on Turkish Air, because I have been haggling for 5 hours this morning with a Turkish travel agency, that for all intents and purposes had me spend an entire morning faxing my credit and passport info to no avail because they couldn't figure out how to order a ticket for me. The rest of the morning was spent waiting for faxes and telephone calls that they never intended to make. I am now, instead, heading out to a Manhattan branch of a Turkish travel agency.
